Campsite Location
Sušica, Ugljan Island — Zadar Archipelago
Camping Porat is located in the tranquil village of Sušica on the northwestern coast of Ugljan Island, one of the most beautiful islands in the Zadar archipelago. Together with eight surrounding hamlets, Sušica forms a community centred around the village of Ugljan, just 1 km away.
In nearby Ugljan village you'll find everything you need for everyday life — shops, restaurants, a post office, a medical centre and various other amenities. For more information about the area, visit the Preko Municipality Tourist Board website.
The easiest way to reach Ugljan Island is by the daily ferry service from Zadar (Gaženica) to Preko, or alternatively via Biograd–Tkon across Pašman Island, which is connected to Ugljan by a bridge. Ferry timetables are available on the Jadrolinija website.
Nature has blessed this unique region with an array of diverse landscapes. Within a relatively small area you'll find four national parks — Paklenica, Krka, Kornati and Plitvice Lakes — as well as Telašćica Nature Park, making this location an ideal base for exploring the whole of Dalmatia.
